“America’s Got Talent” revealed the results of the second semifinal competition, meaning we have the Top 12 heading into the two-week finale, where the Top 12 are pared down one more time before a winner is crowned.
The first group brought down for some results is Timber Brown, the Military Spouses Choir and Branden James, which Branden going through. That actually surprises us a little, we thought last night was his weakest performance so far.
Group 2 is Chicago Boyz and the Kristef Brothers, which we think means they’re both through. And then they are! Good, they were both excellent last night.
The third group of results is between Marty Brown and Jimmy Rose, with Jimmy advancing. That’s the right choice for us.
The fourth group is made up of Leon Etienne and Romy, John Wing and Kenichi Ebina. Clearly Kenichi is advancing out of this group (and he does), but that unfortunately leaves Anna Christine facing off with D’Angelo & Amanda.
Tha’ts a real shame, they were both great. Honestly, they should both be advancing and Branden James should not be. His sob story has kept in this.
Anyway, the judges tie in their voting, so America’s vote is for … D’Angelo & Amanda.
So the Top 12 have been revealed — Collins Key, Innovative Force, Taylor Williamson, Catapult Entertainment, Cami Bradley, Forte, Branden James, Chicago Boyz, Kristef Brothers, Jimmy Rose, Kenichi Ebina and D’Angelo & Amanda. That’s a great and very diverse group of acts, only four singers.
What do you think, “AGT” fans? Did the right acts advance?
