urx unit loader 'Awkward' creator Lauren Iungerich's comedy pilot lands at ABC

Lauren Iungerich is moving full steam ahead.

After departing her MTV series “Awkward” earlier this year, she has already landed a deal at ABC for a new comedy, Deadline reports.

Single camera comedy “Damaged Goods,” created and executive produced by Iungerich, has landed at ABC with a pilot production commitment that has a series penalty behind it. The new series is about how the sexual politics have changed between men and women in this post-feminist era.

Iungrich has an impressive resume so far: she created and ran breakout comedy “Awkward” for the first three seasons, as well as wrote and executive produced the half-hour comedy pilot “Hot Mess.” She left both earlier this year (“Awkward” was recently renewed for a fourth season, though with new showrunners Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler replacing Iungerich).
