The end is near for “Futurama.” After seven seasons and 124 episodes — plus four feature-length movies — the animated series ends its run Wednesday (Sept. 4) on Comedy Central.
As revealed at Comic-Con in July, Fry finally decides to propose to Leela in the finale, but thanks to a time-travel device invented by Prof. Farnsworth, things go amiss. Like, really amiss, as you can see in the clip above.
Fry and Leela initially have some fun being the only people who are free to move around, but will it last? You can find out when the series finale airs at 10 p.m. ET Wednesday on Comedy Central. The episode will be bookended by live pre- and post-show interviews with creators Matt Groening and David X. Cohen on the show’s website.
