George Strait has announced the final dates on his farewell tour and he’s ending things in the biggest way he can. Straight will hit the road in January 2014, jumping around the United States, before his final stand at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Tex., his home state.
Strait won’t be alone, in fact each week on his “Cowboy Rides Away” tour will feature a new opening act, all of which are pretty big names in their own right. Depending on the week, he’ll be joined by Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Ronnie Dunn, Vince Gill, Merle Haggard, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack or Chris Young. There are some names that have yet to be announced.
