Jennifer Garner is giving the mom drama formula a new twist. The actress landed a pilot commitment from FOX for “The Whole Shebang,” her new show written by “Butter” scribe Jason Micallef.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that “The Whole Shebang” follows a newly single soccer mom who ends up inheriting a strip club business. The site reports that she “unexpectedly finds herself at the center of a dysfunctional, makeshift family that helps her take charge of her life.”
Garner will executive produce the show if it gets picked up to series, but she is not expected to star in it. Her last foray into television was in the ABC drama “Alias,” which ended its run in 2006.
