Jimmie Johnson, five-time NASCAR champion driver, has welcomed a second daughter to his family with wife Chandra. The baby girl was born Friday (Sept. 6) in Charlotte, N.C., weighing in at 5 pounds, 10 ounces, reports the AP.
Johnson skipped the qualifier at the Richmond International Speedway Friday, so driver Regan Smith drove in his place and qualified 10th for Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400 as part of the annual Sprint Cup competition.
Johnson and Chandra have been together over 10 years. They welcomed daughter Genevieve Marie in July 2010 and now have Lydia Norriss, tweeting the above picture (right) with the caption, “Lydia Norriss Johnson and her proud big sister.”
