It was announced in May that “Jurassic Park 4” would be pushed back a bit to give the writers time to polish up the script. Now the release date — and title! — has been revealed to EW.
“Jurassic World,” which is rumored to feature a return to Isla Nublar, is going to be released June 12, 2015. Director Colin Trevorrow has said there’s a small team working on the movie, including producer Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two “Jurassic Park” movies.
“It’s incredible to have Steven, who’s done this for decades and has
such an incredible filmic knowledge and just understands the language of
the story in a way that for us is very refreshing,” says Trevorrow. “It’s not
like getting notes from a studio executive, it’s really just trying to
crack this and make it the best it can be.”
