There has been a lot of fallout from Miley Cyrus‘ now-infamous MTV Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke last month. Open letters have been written to both the stars involved about how distasteful the performance was — and now has the performance gotten Miley taken off a Vogue magazine cover?
The U.K.’s Daily Mail is reporting that Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has decided to go with another December cover after seeing Miley at the VMAs.
“Anna found the whole thing distasteful,” says a source. “She decided, based on Miley’s performance, to take the cover in a different direction.”
Even if it is true, we have to think Miley doesn’t care that much. She’s already said she doesn’t regret the performance — it’s about making history — and her manager says the VMAs “could not have gone better.”
