Corey Feldman has been out promoting his new book, “Coreyography,” and is being very open about what he thinks is a pedophile conspiracy in Hollywood, claiming that both he and Corey Haim were sexually abused as children in show business. The actor appeared on “The Wendy Williams Show” Wednesday (October 30), to explain the sort of abuse he faced, along with Haim.
Corey says he was 13 years old the first time he was sexually violated by a man, and that Haim was merely 11 when it happened to him. Feldman recalls finding a photograph of his 14th birthday party, which featured he and Haim, surrounded by four or five men he claims are pedophiles.
Corey also says he was first given drugs by one of the men who abused him. “The other guy who did the main molesting to me, he turned me onto cocaine for the first time, heroin for the first time, crack for the first time, all of that.” In the book he originally named names, but the publisher wouldn’t print them for legal reasons.
According to Feldman, the abuse confused Haim. When asked if the two were every sexually active together, Corey says no, adding, “He was coming at me like that and it was this young innocent energy. You know, a lot of kids experiment when they’re young with each other and it’s not considered wrong, it’s just part of the learning process … This was not because of that, this is because he was told “This is what we do, this is how this works.'” Corey explained to Haim that what he was doing was wrong.
After the things Feldman says he went through as a kid in showbusiness, it should come as no surprise that he doesn’t want that life for his own children. Corey is a dad to 9-year-old Zen and says he goes out of his way to keep his son out of the spotlight. “If he’s 18 and says ‘I want to be in the movie business’, I’ll support you.”
