The couple issued a joint statement to E!, the home of their reality show focusing largely on Kris’ daughters, Khloe, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian.
“We will always have much love and respect for each other,” Kris and Bruce say in the statement. “Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”
Bruce’s son Brody Jenner recently confirmed the reports that his father had moved out of the family mansion and was living solo in Malibu, Calif. The party line for a while now has been that Bruce was simply spending some time in a summer vacation home, while Brody admitted his dad needed some space while Kris settled in as grandma to North West, Kim’s new baby with rapper Kanye West.
Bruce and Kris have been married since 1991. They share two daughters, Kendall Jenner, 17, and Kylie Jenner, 16.
On a recent episode of “KUWTK,” Kris revealed she and Bruce at one time made a sex tape that may or may not have been erased. Now let’s just hope an impending divorce is not the impetus of that tape seeing the light of day.
