In the most obvious TV tie-in move ever — like, “why didn’t they think of this sooner” obvious — CBS’s “2 Broke Girls,” a sitcom about two twentysomething women trying to launch a cupcake business, has partnered with Sprinkles cupcakes for a very special limited-edition cupcake.
In honor of National Vanilla Cupcake day, which is apparently a real thing, the cupcake bakery and the Warner Bros. Television comedy teamed up to release the 2 Broke Not So Vanilla cupcake, available in Sprinkles stores from Nov. 1-15.
The actual holiday is Sunday, Nov. 10, but you can celebrate early at Sprinkles locations across the country — though the bakery started in Beverly Hills, there are now stores in Chicago, Dallas, Georgetown, Houston, New York, Scottsdale, and many more cities nationwide.
As an added bonus, Sprinkles is giving away 100 “2 Broke Girls” cupcakes to patrons of its cupcake ATM via golden tickets hidden inside the boxes. There are cupcake ATMs in Beverly Hills, Dallas, and Chicago, and 100 customers at each location who use the ATM on Nov. 10 will win free cupcakes.
