“Hunger Games: Catching Fire” star Josh Hutcherson stopped by “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday (Nov. 26), where he talks about his recent “Saturday Night Live” appearance and who he wanted to be when he grew up when he was younger.
“All of a sudden you’re thrown in the set [on ‘SNL’] and you’re like, ‘What am I doing?!'” says Hutcherson. “Thank god there are cue cards. I was so nervous the last two months leading up to it and then after the first three days, I was like, ‘I wanna do this every week!'”
Fallon uses the segue that he’s hosting “SNL” in December with musical guest Justin Timberlake to talk about Hutcherson’s former JT obsession.
“I was an embarrassingly big Justin Timberlake fan. I full-on wanted to be Justin Timberlake … I frosted my tips when I was a little kid, I did my best,” says Hutcherson, as Fallon whips out a picture.
Josh also throws some (joking) shade on his “Catching Fire” co-star Jennifer Lawrence:
“People think she’s cool and humble, but she actually has mental problems. She needs to be medicated. … You just never know what she’s gonna do next. … One time I was doing this interview on a red carpet … and she just walks back and goes, ‘Hey Josh, how’s your rash doing?'”
J-Law sounds like someone we could spend some time with. She did just tell David Letterman about crapping her pants, which is amazing.
Below, watch Hutcherson and Fallon’s Thanksgiving-themed random item shoot-out — including pumpkin pie, a cornucopia, a bowl of cranberry sauce and a giant fake turkey.
