Another week, another cut on “The Voice.” As Season 5’s Top 8 became the Top 6 on Tuesday (Nov. 26), one coach found themselves with no artists left in the game? So, who went home? Let’s get to it.
After revealing some rather impressive stats (15 million downloads since premiere of the series!), Carson Daly revealed the first artist to advance to next week. The lucky one? Team Adam’s Will Champlin. He was followed, in order, by Team Blake’s Cole Vosbury and Team Christina’s Jacquie Lee. With only five left, it was revealed that Team Adam remained intact and Tessanne Chin and James Wolpert were also voted on.
Time for the Instant Save. The artists in danger: Team Christina’s Matthew
Schuler, Team Blake’s Ray Boudreaux and Team CeeLo’s Caroline Pennell.
says America should save Ray because he’s representing a genre of music
that needs a spotlight shown on it. CeeLo argues that Caroline
deserves the opportunity to see this through, while Christina admits she
doesn’t understand why Matt’s in this position tonight.
In the end, Matt was saved (as he should’ve been), CeeLo found himself without a single artist in the game and Blake’s three-year winning streak seemed near its end, as he’s only got one singer left. These final few weeks are going to be intense.
Did the right artists go home tonight? Sound off in the comments below.
