Singer Britney Spears is stopping by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Tuesday (Dec. 3), where she talks with Ellen about her new album, “Britney Jean,” which feature all songs that Spears co-wrote, including “Till It’s Gone.” Spears admits that a song about a break-up can be hard but she thinks it’s a healthy thing to write about when you’re ready.
“I think its healthy. I think if you’re ready to share that with the world, like personal things like that, then I think it’s very therapeutic and good for you to do that,” says Spears.
She also says of her Las Vegas show, “I just feel like it’s ideal. I’ve done like four tours in the past like five years and I’ve been traveling like all around the world and I think it’s ideal to have one place to go to that you can just feel like it’s more family-oriented and just it’s just ideal.”
Finally, Spears opens up about her new boyfriend, David Lucado, who is not in show business, which is nice for her.
“I just love that he’s very passionate and he’s funny and he’s sexy and I don’t know, I like him. I just … I love him,” says Spears. She also says they got into a little spat yesterday because he didn’t call her back for six hours. But they’re fine now — which is good, because Ellen was ready to call him up and give him a piece of her mind.
“Britney Jean” was released Nov. 29 and her Las Vegas show opens Dec. 27 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
