Including “Glee” star Cory Monteith in the In Memoriam montage at the 56th Grammy Awards was a lovely thought. He, along with his castmates, really was part of a musical phenomenon. Too bad the person in charge of the graphics in the montage spelled his name wrong.
To be fair, the inversion of the “e” and the “i” is a pretty easy mistake to make, but you’d think the Grammys might want to hire a copy editor to make sure things like this don’t happen.
Aside from the spelling error, though, it was nice that the Grammys honored Monteith alongside other musical greats who passed away in 2013. Monteith died of a drug overdose in July at age 31.
