“Project Runway All Stars” has crowned it’s champion of fashion. After the three finalists, Seth Aaron, Elena and Korto, presented collections based on each of their heritages, there was a clear winner for the judges.
Before the designers got to show off their work, they were thrown a bit of a curve ball in the form of colorful scarves. Each had to use one as part of one of their designs, which worked to varying degrees of success. Seth Aaron had the most luck, weaving it into a dress design.
The judges had nice things to say to everyone, though there were also some issues that needed to be addressed. Elena had some definite fitting problems with her designs and, while the upper half of her work looked fantastic, the judges weren’t too impressed by te lack of attention to detail on the bottom half.
Korto was deemed the most inventive of the three, with her only real issue being some of her structured pieces not working as well as she’d hoped. Meanwhile, Seth Aaron received no real complaints about his designs.
In what couldn’t have been surprising to anyone, considering the feedback, Seth Aaron was named winner of “Project Runway All Stars,” with Korto taking first runner-up and Elena landing in third. Now the countdown begins to the return of “Project Runway,” which should show up in the summer.
