Lifetime has landed on the female lead for their upcoming “Flowers in the Attic” sequel.
Though the 1980 V.C. Andrews novel picks up immediately after the events in “Flowers,” Lifetime’s adaptation will take place 10 years later, with Cathy and her surviving siblings Christopher and Carrie as young adults, trying to shake off their traumatic history.
Heather Graham and Ellen Burstyn, who starred as mother Corrine Dollganger and grandmother Olivia Neworthy, respectively, are set to reprise their roles, as previously announced. Mason Dye, who starred as Christopher in the first film, will not be returning.
McIver’s recent TV credits including recurring roles on “Once Upon a Time,” as Tinker Bell, and “Masters of Sex.”
Do you think McIver will make a good grown-up Cathy?
