Ramona Singer is going through a tough time with the dissolution of her marriage of 27 years to husband Mario, but one person the “Real Housewives of New York City” star doesn’t want any support from? Former co-star Jill Zarin, it seems.
After reports of Singer’s separation went public on Monday (Jan. 27), Zarin, who was infamously fired from “RHONYC” in 2011, took to Twitter to comment on the news. “I am glad you finally told the truth @ramonasinger,” she tweeted. “I hope he gets what he deserves. ‘Mario CHOKED her.'”
On Wednesday, Singer retweeted a fan’s not-so-positive thoughts about Zarin’s comment: “Why in the h*** is @jillZarin discussing anything at all about @ramonasinger? STFU Jill. You nor your gossip are relevant.” Singer then replied to the fan, “Think it’s sad she feels the need to use my personal business to try to make herself relevant.”
Looks like there’s no love lost there.
Singer was much more receptive to the well-wishes of a few “Housewives” from other franchises, however. Dina Manzo, of “New Jersey,” and Kyle Richards, of “Beverly Hills,” both sent their love to the reality star. In turn, they both got a “thank you” and an “xo.”
Maybe it’s because they didn’t allege domestic abuse?
