Kate Winslet has plenty to say in her most recent interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” For the Tuesday (March 18) episode, the Oscar-nominated actress tells Ellen DeGeneres about her first earthquake, baby Bear Blaze and getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
You can watch some of the highlights in video of the interview.
Apparently, the Los Angeles earthquake of March 17 was Winslet’s very first experience with the natural phenomenon. She was a little surprised by the event, but the actress was also pumping breast milk at the time — and not even a small earthquake could stop that necessity.
The milk was of course for Winslet’s youngest son, Bear Blaze. He may have an odd name, but the last name is not Bear’s father’s: Rocknroll. When DeGeneres asks why that is, Winslet’s reply is just about perfect: “Why do you think, Ellen?”
Later in the interview, the two talk about Winslet’s brand-new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is apparently located right by Ellen’s own star, so there’s plenty to discuss. For one thing, DeGeneres advises Winslet not to lick the star. “I mean, it’s clean now,” she says. “Don’t go back there in another day or so.”
