John Travolta had a bit of stumble during his introduction to the soon-to-be best song winner “Let It Go” at the 86th Academy Awards. He was doing fine … until he got to the name of the singer. Travolta says:
“There will always be a special place in my heart for the movie musical and the songs that create their most memorable moments. Here to perform the Oscar-nominated, gorgeously-empowering song ‘Let It Go,’ from the Oscar-winning animated movie ‘Frozen,’ please welcome the ‘wickedly’ talented, one and only, [Idina Menzel].”
Except he didn’t say Idina Menzel. No one’s really sure what he said. Guesses online include: Adele Dazeem, Adele Dahzee, Adele Kazim and Adele Dazi. One funny Twitterer writes, “My new life’s goal is for John Travolta to give me a new name at an awards show.”
