“Bachelor” Juan Pablo’s non-proposal to Nikki Ferrell was not the only controversial thing about his finale and “After the Final Rose” reunion special. He also was thrown some strong words from rejected bachelorette Clare Crawley after a questionable comment he made to her off-camera (on top of their previous romp in the ocean that he made her feel guilty about).
Monday (March 17) Clare appeared on “Good Morning America” to talk about how it all went down.
“I actually feel amazing. It feels so good to finally have it out in the open and to not have to hide how I feel,” says Crawley. When asked if she had any inkling she was going to be rejected, she says, “Because of the conversation we had in the helicopter, there was that doubt in my mind. But going into the final rose ceremony, I felt like I’ve been here the whole time and I said I would follow it through to the end. I just figured I would be there and no matter what happens, I’m going to say how I feel.”
She continues, “I have no regrets. I went into this feeling I’m going to be 100 percent
open and 100 percent myself and I’m going to think about what I do. And
because I thought and then acted, I’m proud of that.”
As for her past and present love situations, she admits that she was “definitely falling in love” with Juan Pablo, but the fact that he didn’t choose her is “a blessing in disguise for sure.”
Clare also plays coy about who she’s currently dating, but says, “Um, I’m very happy … the good thing is it’s not on TV right now.”
“The Bachelorette” featuring Andi Dorfman from Juan Pablo’s season kicks off in May on ABC.
