Ben Savage is following in his older brother’s footsteps. The “Boy Meets World” star will make his directorial debut on an episode of the sequel series, “Girl Meets World.” Fred Savage, who starred on “The Wonder Years” is an accomplished TV director, including two episodes of “Boy Meets World.”
The news comes from THR, who spoke with Savage about his new role. “It’s something I’ve been prepping for for the last 20 years,” he says.
Savage’s episode will go into production later in April. It features the daughter of Corey and Topanga, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), teaming with her friend to give a makeover to a fellow classmate.
There is also a new cast photo (above) that comes from Blanchard’s Twitter page. It’s nothing ground-breaking, but gives another look at the characters you’ll meet when “Girl Meets World” debuts later in the fall on the Disney Channel.
