Emilia Clarke is taking good advantage of her time off from “Game of Thrones.” The actress better known as Khaleesi Daenerys Targaryen is currently filming “Terminator: Genesis,” and also picked up a role as Bonnie in a movie about Bonnie and Clyde called “Go Down Together.”
The Wrap says she will act opposite “X-Men: Days of Future Past” star Nicholas Hoult, who is playing Clyde. Michael Sucsy will direct the film off a script by “Up In The Air’s” Sheldon Turner. The story is an adaptation of Jeff Guinn’s non-fiction book “Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde.”
“Game of Thrones” fans can still catch Clarke weekly on the series when it airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO. Meanwhile, “Days of Future Past” hits theaters on May 23.
