You know you’re throwing one heck of a wedding weekend when you set up a first aid truck giving IV fluids to your attendees.

Julie Bowen stops by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Monday (Feb. 8), where she talks about her “Modern Family” co-star Sofia Vergara’s wedding to Joe Manganiello, which sounds like kind of an insane three days.

“If you’ve ever been to a Sofia event — it’s three days, it’s slow-moving, like a trolley. You jump on and you drink and you dance, then you jump off. You can’t stay on the trolley for three days, it’s a party train. It’s insanity,” says Bowen, adding that to take a break from the action, she would go back to her room and watch “Straight Outta Compton.”

But other people didn’t take breaks and therefore they were left with visiting the first aid truck for IV re-hydration.

“I was good — I took breaks and watched ‘Straight Outta Compton.’ But if you didn’t, they had a little ambulance truck, an IV station where you could go get IV hydration,” says Bowen. “I thought somebody had had a heart attack … ’cause there was this first aid truck set up outside the pool area where all the bungalows are. And there are people sipping espresso getting IV hydration. Apparently there’s nothing you can do in three days that can’t be undone by IV re-hydration.”

“That’s a way to encourage drinking,” quips DeGeneres.
