Get your swords and battle cats ready, San Diego Comic-Con attendees — because a new He-Man animation is premiering Wednesday (July 20) and it promises to be an epic “Masters of the Universe” tale.

Super7 has announced a free public screening of “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Curse of the Three Terrors” at SDCC. To whet fans’ appetites, the company released a preview trailer.

The teaser doesn’t offer too much in way of plot, but it does feature Skeletor yelling at his minions. And they aren’t the only ones on the receiving end of Skeletor’s insults. In another video by Super7, the “Masters of the Universe” villain insults Comic-Con itself.

“Comic-Con? You want me to hang out with a bunch of nerdy nincompoops and malnourished morons? I’d rather check Beast Man for fleas. Someone get my agent on the phone,” growls Skeletor.

This is the first He-Man animation since 2002’s “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” aired on Cartoon Network. This one looks much more in line with the original cartoon from the 1980s, however.

The fun kicks off Wednesday, July 20 at 10 p.m. PT at the corner of 8th Ave. and G in downtown San Diego.
