Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian

“I feel like me and Taylor might have sex, I made that bitch famous.”

These lyrics from Kanye West’s headline-making track “Famous,” off of his new album “The Life of Pablo,” had Taylor Swift and her squad of fans up in arms back in February. Both West and wife Kim Kardashian kept saying they had Swift’s permission to refer to her in the song, that she gave the green light, but no one believed them — until now?

On Sunday (July 17), Kardashian released a Snapchat video of the phone call in which West very politely asks Swift to use these exact lyrics. He reads them out to her and Swift says, “It’s like a compliment! I really appreciate your telling me about it. It’s really nice.”

Kim and Kanye would have you believe that America’s sweetheart has been caught in a big fat lie. That’s just the half of it, though. After thanking West for sending her flowers and gushing that it’s one of the most liked photos she’s had on Instagram, West says, “Relationship are more important than punchlines.” Swift’s reply: “I don’t think anyone would listen to that and think it’s a real bit.” She then proceeds to encourage the rapper to tell his truth, and use those lyrics.

As with any breaking Taylor Swift news, the internet is going crazy after discovering that she’s been misleading her fans all this time. Who can forget the pointed speech she gave at the 2015 Grammys?

The "Blank Space" singer vehemently denied she knew about these lyrics and a rep for Swift told Billboard that she actually warned West about "releasing a song with such a misogynistic tone."

While releasing this Snapchat video on a late Sunday night may seem odd, Kim knew exactly what she was doing. Thanks to Swift's highly publicized relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston, it's been reported that they are currently gallivanting around Australia where it's a perfectly decent mid-day hour.

And as luck would have it ... Swift didn't wait long before firing back. Taking to her Instagram shortly after Kim's post went up, she posted a response for Kim, Kanye and all of her 85.7 million of her fans to read.

Not only is Taylor continuing to deny giving her approval for those specific lyrics, but she also claims she had no idea her phone call with Kanye was being recorded.

That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet.
