Ever since the "Lucifer" Season 1 finale revealed that Amenadiel (D.B Woodside) and Lucifer's mother had escaped hell, everyone's been speculating about the woman who raised such turbulent and powerful children.

Tom Ellis and Tricia Helfer shed some light the mother of evil (and good?) at San Diego Comic-Con and which parts of her personality we should be on the lookout for. According to Ellis, his mother, Charlotte, will not be a fans of humans, and those feelings will almost certainly translate to his crime-fighting partner, Chloe (Lauren German).

Tricia Helfer,  who has been cast to play the mysterious Charlotte, teased that we can look forward to learning the reason behind her hatred of humans in the second episode of the season. "She's not exactly very happy that she's in a human body either," Helfer says.

Helfer also revealed that the body Charlotte appears in during Season 2 has not been the first form body she's taken on, which makes us wonder if we might have some flashbacks in store for us sometime this season.

"Lucifer" returns September 19th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
