AMC released a trailer for “The Walking Dead” Season 7 Friday (July 22) at San Diego Comic-Con. The trailer shows new villain Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), but doesn’t hint at who he killed in the Season 6 finale. It also gave a first look at King Ezekiel, a fan-favorite character of the comic books on with the series is based. Actor Khary Payton will play Ezekiel.

Star Andrew Lincoln promised that Negan’s victim will be revealed in the season premiere. “It’s a shitty way to start the season” for the characters, Lincoln says, but promised that things will get better for them down the line.
