“Wayward Pines” viewers may be curious about the dedication flashed on the screen before the final credits rolled after “Pass Judgment” Wednesday (July 13). The episode was dedicated to Steve Menunzio, a member of the show’s crew who passed away in May.

The FOX drama films in British Columbia, Canada, where Menunzio was a member of the local chapter of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. He worked on the show as part of the 891 Construction Department until his recent death.

The 35-year-old crew member was reported missing by his family on May 7, according to Global BC. He was last seen leaving his North Langley residence on May 6. His sister-in-law posted to Facebook on May 12 that his body had been located.

On a GoFundMe page set up for his family, his wife Amy writes, “Thank you to everyone who shared a post, who looked for Steve, for all the messages sending love, support, condolences, for the generous donations. Thank you to the Langley RCMP and the Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue, they worked so hard to be able to give our family closure. While I have not responded to any messages, please know that I have read them all and it is giving me strength to know so many people loved Steve and are there for our family.”

Menunzio leaves behind his wife and two daughters, Alaina and Mila.
