"Arrow" is getting a new team and Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) is shaping up to be a terrific addition to the squad.

After being introduced in Season 4 as Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) assistant and eventual Team Arrow B-Squad member, Curtis is getting an upgrade in Season 5 as he joins the new team under the Mr. Terrific moniker comic book fans know him by. It's not just a spot on the team he's getting, though. Curtis is also getting his own vigilante costume.

"Curtis is getting his suit this year, I'm so looking forward to that, I'm so excited," Kellum tells Zap2it. "It's really cool to be a part of team Arrow."

However, he's definitely not going to spoil what it looks like. "I can't really say if I've tried anything on but it feels good," he continues. "It's so cool. I actually just did a little plaster for my face to see exactly what I'm going to have on my face."

While Kellum is stoked about Curtis getting to put on his vigilante suit and take to the streets with the Green Arrow, his character's husband isn't as excited about the change.

"I think it'll be really interesting to see how him and Paul (Chenier Hundal) get through that aspect and how they deal with different things in their relationship," Kellum teases. Call us crazy, but we don't think Paul's going to be too excited about the love of his life risking his own health on a daily basis.

"Arrow" returns Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
