Prank shows, they’re a dime a dozen. But, by the looks of things, the truTV series “Fameless” flips the concept on its head. Created by David Spade, each episode sets its sights on fame-seekers who sign up to star in their own reality series. The catch? There is no reality game show in this equation and, thusly, the joke is on these aspiring celebrities.

In Zap2it’s exclusive clip of Monday’s (Aug. 8) episode, Joey Lawrence makes a guest appearance as the host for fake reality series, “Limo Zing.” Aside from the cheesy play on words, it’s not long before the self-described insult comic gets what’s coming to him.

There’s a time and place for comedic roasts and it’s very apparent that the backseat of this limo is nowhere near the place this guy wants to be. “Yo, you is flat like a carpet. The only time you get work is when you get nailed.” It’s lines like that which make the in-on-the-joke actress reply, “You enjoy insulting women?”

Unfazed by the reaction, he continues. And is soon given a jarring wake-up call when the passenger’s imposing family takes over the car. Needless to say, they succeed at striking the fear of God into the jokester. As soon as the limo begins to move, our intrepid hero bolts from the scene before anyone can inform him that it’s all a game show.

“Fameless” airs on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on truTV.
