Even though the summer TV season is winding down, there are still a few gems popping up for the week of Sept. 5-9, plus some new shows debuting before the fall TV crush -- and they're definitely worth a watch.

So here's Zap2it's handy guide to what you should be tuning into for the first week of September.

1. 'The Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe,' Sept. 5

Rob Lowe is lit'rally sitting on the hottest seat in town when he lets everyone from comedians Pete Davidson and Jeff Ross to former co-star Bo Derek to ex-Indianapolis Colt Peyton Manning take the stage to make fun of him -- and looks like roaster Ann Coulter is a frequent target as well. The fun kicks off Monday at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

2. 'Bachelor in Paradise' finale, Sept. 6

Who will end up together? Who will get engaged? Will anyone make as big a fool of themselves as Chad did earlier in the season? Tune in Tuesday at 8 p.m. to find out.

3. 'Atlanta' premiere, Sept. 6

If you like Donald Glover for "Community" and/or his musical career as Childish Gambino, you're going to like "Atlanta." The tone of the show couldn't be more different from Glover's former NBC comedy, but it's definitely one of the best new shows of 2016. It premieres Tuesday at 10 p.m.

4. 'American Gothic' finale, Sept. 7

5. 'Better Things' premiere, Sept. 8

Pamela Adlon ("Louie") is getting her own FX show and if you like "Louie," you're going to like this "Better Things." This new autobiographical comedy tells the story of a former child star grown up, divorced and raising three daughters while still trying to act in Hollywood. The first five episodes just kept getting better with each passing one, so be sure to tune in Thursday at 10 p.m. to check it out.
