The creators of “90210” are trying the “gay character” thing again, the CW confirms to Zap2it. And this time they are not having a character dabble in a gay relationship, like Adrianna did with guest star Rumer Willis in Season 2.
This time the show wants to “address the issue in a real and relatable way,” co-executive producer Jennie Urman tells EW. Of course, that’s also kiiiinda what they said the last time. But nevermind that. The character who is going to be gay has been narrowed down to one of three choices — Liam (Matt Lanter), Navid (Michael Steger) and Teddy (Trevor Donovan).
So who do you think it is, “90210” fans? Interestingly, Navid told the NY Daily News back in 2008 when word broke at that time about a gay “90210” character that Navid “really loves women.” But perhaps the “90210” creators changed their minds.
