happy endings abc ABC Fall 2012 TV schedule: A night by night grid reveals a 'Private Practice' 'Grey's Anatomy' break upOn Tuesday, ABC announced its new primetime schedule for the Fall 2012 season, making significant changes to its current lineup.

Notably, “Happy Endings” and “Don’t Trust The B—- in Apartment 23” have moved out of their Wednesday comedy block to Tuesday, where they’ll follow the “Dancing With The Stars” results show — a launchpad which could bring new eyes to these underrated comedies. “Private Practice” moves away from its sister show “Grey’s Anatomy,” making those crossover episodes a little more complicated, to a 10 p.m. slot on Tuesday.

The Wednesday night comedy block will now include “The Neighbors,” about a family who moves in next to extraterrestrials in New Jersey, after “The Middle,” “Suburgatory,” and “Modern Family.” At 10 p.m., where “Revenge” thrived this season, we’ll now watch “Nashville,” Connie Britton’s country music show.

Despite the “Private Practice” move, Shonda Rhimes still has a Thursday night block. At 8 p.m. we’ll see Shawn Ryan’s “Last Resort,” followed by two Rhimes shows – “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal.”

Also notable is “Revenge” moving to Sunday nights, where Emily VanCamp will be reunited with her “Brothers & Sisters” co-star Dave Annable — at least in scheduling — as his new supernatural thriller, “666 Park Avenue,” follows her show.
