Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested Monday (June 10) on a misdemeanor assault charge after allegedly striking a Cincinnati woman back on June 4, reports the AP.
Jones was released on his own recognizance and will have to appear at an arraignment for the charge Tuesday afternoon. The police report lists the injury to the woman as minor.
This NFL player is no stranger to troubles with the law, having been arrested numerous times for various incidents since 2005, the most famous of which is the Las Vegas strip club altercation where Pacman “made it rain” and then attacked a dancer who was going to pick up the money he just threw at her. He claimed later he threw the money “for visual effect.”
That incident left several people shot (by one of Pacman’s entourage members he claims he did not know) and the NFL suspended him for a year.
There was another altercation in 2008, which led to Pacman entering rehab. He has kept his nose clean since then, until this 2013 arrest.
