It turns out “American Dad” has a little bit of life left on FOX.
The show is ending its run on FOX and moving to TBS in late 2014, but it’s getting three more episodes before it leaves the network.
The show will air back-to-back new episodes on Sunday, Sept. 14, and have its swan song on the network Sept. 21, with an episode featuring Roger having a fling with another alien (voiced by Kim Kardashian) whom he and Francine find in the woods.
FOX has also announced a lineup of guest voices for its other animated series and the cast of newcomer “Bordertown.” Here’s a rundown:
“Bob’s Burgers”: Guest voices for the season, which premieres Oct. 5, include Bill Hader, Rachel Dratch, Jenny Slate, Aziz Ansari, Kumail Nanjiani (“Silicon Valley”), Molly Shannon, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, Carl Reiner, Joe Lo Truglio, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele and Kevin Kline and Zach Galifianakis. The latter two are part of a story in which a “hoard of ferocious poultry [is] unleashed upon the town.”
“The Simpsons”: Jane Fonda will play Mr. Burns’ girlfriend in an episode, Willem Dafoe guests as Bart’s tough new teacher, and the cast of “Futurama” comes aboard for a crossover episode. Offerman, Sarah Silverman, David Hyde Pierce (Cecil?), Jeffrey Ross and Matthew Sweet will also make appearances. The season premiere is Sept. 28.
“Family Guy”: The season kicks off with a “Simpsons” crossover on Sept. 28. Liam Neeson, Julie Bowen and Allison Janney lend their voices to episodes later in the season.
Finally, “Simpsons” star Hank Azaria will voice Bud Buckwald, the lead character on “Bordertown,” about two families living in a town on the U.S.-Mexico border. The cast also features “Family Guy’s” Alex Borstein, Missi Pyle, Judah Friedlander and Nicholas Gonzalez. Efren Ramirez will be a guest star.
