As part of its latest attempt to rebuild its Sunday night lineup, NBC debuted new reality series “American Dream Builders” on March 23, bringing the home renovation genre back to network television.
Hosted by Nate Berkus, 12 of the most sought-after designers and builders in the country began a competition that will see them tackle two massive home-renovation projects each week in the hopes of winning a $250,000 cash prize. Judging the contestants alongside Berkus is former NFL running back and current landscaper architect Eddie George and design expert Monica Pedersen.
