The Season 2 cast of “American Horror Story” is really starting to take shape. The latest addition is Jenna Dewan-Tatum as the “other half” of the characters that have been referred to as “the lovers,” reports EW. Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was previously announced as the first half.
Dewan-Tatum, in addition to being Channing Tatum’s wife, is primarily known as a dancer. She met her husband on the set of the 2006 movie “Step Up” and has toured as a dancer with Janet Jackson, Sean Combs and Ricky Martin. We also enjoyed Dewan-Tatum’s character Janie on the short-lived NBC drama “The Playboy Club.”
Not much is known about the second season of “AHS,” other than that it is set at a mental institution in the 1960s, which is on the East Coast and is run by Jessica Lange. Dewan-Tatum joins returning stars Lange, Evan Peters, Zachary Quinto,
Lily Rabe and Sarah Paulson, plus newcomers to the show James Cromwell,
Clea Duvall, Levine, Chloe Sevigny, Joseph Fiennes and Lizzie Brochere.
“American Horror Story” returns to FX in the fall of 2012.
