In the mass chaos backstage at this week’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” taping, Zap2it got a quick minute with three members of fan favorites — the ICONic Boyz.
]]>Mikey Fusco took on the role of unofficial spokesperson for the Boyz, while Vinny Castronovo and Tommy Miceli looked on. Performing to “Check it out” by the Black Eyed Peas this week, the Boyz are joining the rest of the remaining crews for a group opening number to “Massive Attack” as well. We chatted with Fusco about some of our very own 2Cool readers, and how it feels to be a role model for young kids across the country. He also let us in on which crew they think is their biggest threat. “It feels really great to know that people really look up to us and we inspire them,” he tells us. “Because when we were little kids we used to look up to people and they inspired us, and now to know that everyone else is inspired by us — it’s an amazing feeling.” In a special message to their fans, he adds: “So we just, we love your support and we see all of it, so thank you for supporting us.” Watch the backstage video below, and tune in to MTV on Thursday at 10 PM to see how the Boyz turn it out this week!
