We find out at the top of the “America’s Got Talent” that the Kristef Brothers had a terrible accident during their rehearsal, sending one brother crashing to the floor on his head. This means that they are not performing this week but hopefully can perform next week.
This means that Red Panda, who had to withdraw before the quarterfinals due to a family emergency, is here this week as Howie’s wild card pick.
So, which acts stood out for you?
We think the non-singing acts are going to have a hard time. We feel confident in saying that Dave Fenley, Cami Bradley and Forte will advance to the Top 12 and Jonathan Allen might sneak in there, which doesn’t leave much room for other types of acts.
Angela Hoover and Taylor Williamson will definitely be battling for the comedy vote and we’d give the edge to Taylor. Those two will unfortunately probably keep Collins Key from advancing, which is too bad because we think he’s pretty neat. His trick this week, however, was extremely clunky in its execution.
Duo Resonance was gorgeous as always, but they might get lost in the shuffle, while Innovative Force was like a cheerleader routine on Valium — not a good song choice, it felt so slowed down. We expected a little more from Catapult Entertainment — like Mel B. said, it was a little confusing at first. It definitely didn’t pack the emotional punch of last week.
Red Panda was impressive, but not flashy enough to advance, and Tone the Chiefrocca is a one-trick pony that is definitely not advancing.
Who do you think will advance? If we had to pick six, we’d say Fenley, Bradley, Forte, Allen, Williamson and Catapult, though Hoover could sneak in there in favor of Allen, if we had to pick one singing act to not advance.
