Time for the next set of acts to be put into the semifinals on “America’s Got Talent” Season 9. Who do you hope advances?
The first group of acts brought down is Cornell Bhangra vs. Sons of Serendip and the male singing group is the one that advances. That’s the right choice out of these two acts, but I did enjoy Cornell Bhangra a lot. It’s a shame to see them go.
The next group called out is Dragon House ‘The Agents,’ Kieran and Finian Makepeace and Blue Journey, from which Blue Journey advances. No big shock there. I’m intrigued to see more from them, I thought the story in their dance performance this week could have been a little clearer.
The third group is Paul Ieti vs. Anna Clendening. Paul goes through, which is no surprise either. He’ll probably win the whole thing, honestly. But he’s not that strong of a singer.
The fourth group is comprised of Christian Stoinev and Wendy Liebman. The dog act should be a shoo-in and then yes, that’s who gets through.
That leaves AcroArmy, Adrian Romoff and Mike Super in the judges’ choice group. After the votes are revealed to eliminate one act, it turns out to be Adrian Romoff, which surprises me, honestly. I thought America would have voted him through. But now it seems like the judges’ choice is pretty clear (at least to me) — it has to be AcroArmy.
The votes go Heidi-Acro, Howie-Mike, Mel B-Acro, Howard-Acro, which is the right outcome. Good job, judges.
Next week: The last 12 quarterifnalists.
