NBC didn’t do its new comedy “Animal Practice” the biggest favor when it scheduled a preview of the show’s pilot during the closing ceremony of the Olympics in August.
Yes, it meant that quite a few people saw it — but because the network essentially interrupted its already taped coverage of the closing ceremony for the preview, it also ticked a lot of people off.
That’s not the show’s fault, though. As we said in our review, “Animal Practice” is not trying for anything more than light laughs, and thanks to star Justin Kirk and the band of oddballs who work at his veterinary hospital, it succeeds maybe more than it should on paper.
Now that you’ve seen the show in its natural habitat of 8 p.m. Wednesdays, what do you think? Will you keep watching, or should “Animal Practice” have its license revoked? Vote in the poll below and share your thoughts in the comments.
