Ann B. Davis, who played beloved housekeeper Alice on “The Brady Bunch,” died Sunday (June 1) after a fall in her Texas home. She was 88.
Davis’ close friend Bishop William Frey confirmed the news to CNN, saying that the actress fell in her bathroom on Saturday and hit her head, suffering a subdural hematoma. She never regained consciousness.
TMZ reports that Davis was a member of a close-knit church whose members are currently planning her funeral arrangements. The site also adds that Davis had been alert and healthy before her fall, so the death was a shock to her friends.
