Courtney Robertson wasn’t the most beloved winner to take part of ABC’s long-running reality series “The Bachelor,” but the Season 16 winner has landed herself a book deal to explain her side to the story.
Us Weekly reports that Robertson, who won Bachelor Ben Flajnik‘s hand in marriage in 2011, only to have the two split in October 2012, has landed a book deal for a memoir entitled “I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain.”
“Going on ‘The Bachelor’ was the most amazing opportunity I’ve ever had, but I did not have a fairy tale ending!” Robertson tells the magazine. “The girls hated me, my modeling career was destroyed and Ben and I had a tumultuous 11-month relationship that ultimately imploded. There are two sides to every story.
“I wanted a chance to talk about what went down from my perspective, because I think there are a lot of misconceptions out there about me,” she continues. “Writing the book has been very cathartic — I’ve definitely learned a lot about myself and love! I think fans of the show are going to love it, it’s totally juicy and hilarious.”
“I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends” will be released by HarperCollins Publishers, though there is no official release date as of press time.
