“Back to the Future” producer Robert Zemeckis is in early talks with co-writer Bob Gale and the movie’s composer, Alan Silvestri, to come up with a plan for a staged version of the 1985 classic.
Obviously, we’d expect it to be a musical adaptation and the source material offers plenty of opportunities for odes to DeLoreans, flux capacitors and Marty McFly.
In September, a pair of Marty McFly’s self-lacing Nike Air Mags sold for $37,500 — so clearly there’s money to be made by going back to “Back to the Future.”
