It’s still spring, but Beyonce has proved that she’s ready for summer. The first images from the pop star’s summer ad campaign with H&M show her modeling the clothing company’s line of bikinis — and her toned physique.
These images are just the first part of a lengthy campaign for H&M that the Queen Bey will be a part of. There will also be billboards and a TV commercial released showing Beyonce modeling H&M’s various swimwear and beachwear options. A quarter of the proceeds made by the collection, which is called H&M for Water, will be donated to the organization H&M for WaterAid.
“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion,” Beyonce says of the ad campaign. “I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements — fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”
H&M head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson adds to The Telegraph, “What makes these [H&M] pieces even more special is that Beyonc� herself had input into the design, and they are full of her own personal style.” Talk about Sasha Fierce.
