CBS has been in the habit of bringing back former “Big Brother” houseguests in recent seasons, but it hasn’t done a full-fledged all-star season since Season 7 in 2006.
But now former “BB” hamster Janelle Pierzina has dropped a possible hint at all-stars returning, tweeting, “For the last three summers I have either been pregnant or playing #BigBrother. This summer will be no different!”
Janelle is married to Jess DeSanto and they have two children together — Violet, 2, and Lincoln, 7 months — so she certainly could mean she’s pregnant. But if she waited the requisite 10-12 weeks to start telling people about the baby, her pregnancy happened awfully soon after the birth of her son last August.
Perhaps this means an all-star edition of “Big Brother”? It wouldn’t be a stretch to bring back Janelle because she’s a good player and, more importantly, she’s an extremely popular contestant with the viewers.
Also, it has been a while since the first all-stars. Plus, what better way to rebound from last summer’s racism debacle than to bring back a house full of fan-faves?
It could be a big ol’ pregnancy fake-out, but even if it is, do you hope “Big Brother” does another all-star season anyway?
“Big Brother 16” premieres Wednesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
