Things are finally getting interesting in the “Big Brother 16” house, but at the expense of a fan-favorite. Read on to find out who, but be warned of spoilers from the live feeds, which you can still sign up for to follow all the action yourself.
So, Nicole’s nominees of Jocasta and Zach remained up for eviction after the Battle of the Block competition. Christine won Power of Veto and she has chosen not to use it, which is a first this season, but hardly surprising. You see, Zach has been just barely keeping it together in the house this summer and everyone has finally hit their breaking point.
Now, whether Zach’s nuttiness is all an act or not (and we think it’s mostly an act, but not entirely), he has made a lot of people mad with his antics and fights. He’s a loose cannon who just says or does whatever pops into his head at any given time. It not only upsets the targets of his bouts of flying off the handle, but it makes his alliance members extremely nervous, which is why everybody’s on board with sending Zach out the door.
Frankie was really the only person running around trying to shore up votes for Zach, but even he has been turned by Derrick’s magic mist. Derrick isn’t at Dan-levels of magic misting people yet, but he certainly is a smooth talker who can seemingly convince anyone of whatever it is he wants them to think.
Derrick and Cody did have a final 3 deal with Zach, but they’ve decided he’s too much of a wild card, so that pretty much seals his fate. Maybe if Cody and Derrick were campaigning for Zach to stay he would have a chance, but without them, it’s sayonara to the crazy golfer from Florida.
Thursday’s live eviction episode should be a lot of fun. It’s a double eviction, so that’s always exciting, but also Zach is going to be incensed that he’s leaving. It’s a shame that one of the most interesting and funny houseguests is the collateral damage of the house finally making a big move, but alas.
What do you think, fans? Does Zach have any hope of saving himself?
