Bill Cosby has survived another death hoax.
Rumors of the beloved comedian’s death have been spreading widely over the past few days thanks to a Facebook page titled R.I.P. Bill Cosby.
The page went up on Sunday (Aug. 26), apparently with the intent of trolling the Internet and collecting masses of “How dare you” comments. After a couple days of maintaining the facade that Cosby had, in fact, died, the page’s creators came clean late Tuesday and seem to be reveling in the vitriol directed at them.
It’s not exactly our idea of a good time, but you know, different strokes for different folks.
Cosby has been the subject of several death hoaxes in recent years. The 75-year-old has been on a “Cosby Show” kick in recent days, posting several photos of his favorite Cliff Huxtable sweaters on Twitter and Facebook.
