You represent the dream.” Possibly the most unexpected Beyonce fan to come out of the woodwork this evening was the legendary Streisand, who said: “Great performers have a sound and style that is all their own. And that’s why so many people love Beyonce. And so do I.” U2 frontman Bono added, “She makes songs that will live forever.” Beyonce was honored with the actual hardware by her own mother, Tina, during the live broadcast. During her acceptance speech, she thanked not only her parents, but former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams as well as original members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett. Much to our excitement, she also gave a shootout to her “best friend” and husband, saying “I love me some Jay-Z.” What say you, Zappers? Did Beyonce deserve the award?
